Studio Portraits

The following photos are of an old friend of mine, Chelsea Bevins-Caldwell. She's definitely one of the most brightest and talented people I know. When we were taking the images we had a rough start getting ready because it was a bit awkward being behind the camera. as the hour went by though, we both got more into it and had a lot of fun. It was great to share this experience with her and I'm grateful she has such an amazing character.

Frontal Light; ID Theme
For this image both soft boxes were facing her at a close distance just able her head.

Frontal Light; She was making fun of me by crossing her eyes
The aft boxes were farther away, same height as the previous image and were pulled a little further apart.

Side Light; Astonished
This was the umbrella soft box to the far right and slightly raised from the previous photos.

Side Light; A little more serious
This was the square soft box at a height close to the floor and aimed upward from the far left.

Dramatic Side Light; She was starting to get into the picture thing here
This was the umbrella soft box off to far right and at eye level with Chelsea.

Side light; She was copying that pose old actresses did

Frontal Light, Creative; She's an amazing artist
This was the umbrella soft box lowered to just above her head and angled down. It was a couple feet away so the light wasn't too harsh.
