I have done this project repeatedly for a week; touching up, masking, and blending pictures over and over. I tried mixing more than two pictures and I tried just pasting them together. In the end I think I found that simpler is better and the harder I try to force something the more muddled it gets. The image above is a studio shot of myself by myself in my photography class. The merged photo is a rainbow shard that comes from a dragonflies wing in my bedroom window. I think this image is up to interpretation for whoever sees it but to me it's about happiness that comes like a fog; unexpected, thick, and sparkling when touched by light.
